View of the pool [click to enlarge]The walls of an old barn have been converted into a courtyard which surrounds the swimming pool. There is a paved terrace around the pool with outdoor furniture and sunloungers. After a day of relaxing and sunbathing, the underwater pool lights guarantee a romantic ambience in the evenings. The pool (6.5m x 4.5m) is open from the beginning of June through to the end of September.
Throughout the summer months, climbing roses and flowering shrubs attract scores of butterflies and birds to the garden. It is also popular with frogs, and many of our guests have commented on the "evening frog chorus"! Guests are welcome to pick any fruit from our fruit trees - cherries, figs, plums and mirabelles - and to use the herbs growing in the herb garden outside the kitchen.Our cherry tree [click to enlarge]
